New Orleans-born Armande Alexandra founded her eponymous womenswear brand, ARMANDE, in 2019 focusing on a nostalgic and cultured redesign of classic silhouettes in order to deconstruct the ways in which we consider the female body and its relationship to femininity. Rooted in the philosophy that emotion and design are interrelated, and therefore ever-changing, Alexandra believes in the importance of garments that can be converted as often as one’s mood.

With inspiration deriving from the designer’s deep-rooted culture of her hometown and their laissez-faire approach to living, ARMANDE provides an intuitive and sensual approach to designing versatile and convertible statement essential garments.
